"This is the 4th time
we have used Fairway. We have refinanced our home twice through them over
the past 10 years and then more recently applied for a mortgage for homes we
were buying for my in-laws (the first deal fell through with the sellers and
the second home we just took possession of this week). On all these
occasions, Ken Pederson and his team were able to provide us with better rates –
and in my opinion service – then our home banks/credit unions that we also had
explored.
Ken Pederson is the
Branch Manager we have always dealt with and he
is extremely helpful and professional. In both of the most recent
mortgage applications, significant issues came up with the homes (appraised
value coming in under offer on one) that we needed guidance on – and his
replies to our questions were prompt and very helpful. The first home
sale fell through well into the mortgage application process since we could not
come to an agreement on revised pricing with seller’s as a result of
significant home inspection findings. Again Ken and his staff were very
helpful through all of this.
Robert Hohman Jr handled both the actual
applications this year for us. Rob was professional and efficient.
He even called me the day of settlement to make sure everything went
well. The Fairway office is about 30 minutes from our house – so that
gives you an idea of how satisfied we were with their past services that we
chose them again. The distance was not really an issue since we could
submit all our documents on their secure portal – making the process
convenient.
I would recommend Ken and his Fairway team to anyone needing a mortgage or
refinancing – I would use them again – though I hope we are done with mortgages
for a while now."
